Naturopathic medicine is a distinct profession of primary health care, emphasizing promotion of optimal health through the use of nutrients, herbs, physical medicine, and homeopathy.

However, after practicing for several years, Dr. Corsilles recognized the need to integrate his naturopathic background with conventional medicine and therefore obtained his Physician Assistant certification and received a Bachelor of Clinical Health Services from the University of Washington. There is an increasing demand for integrated healthcare, and as a naturopathic physician and a physician assistant, Dr. Corsilles can merge both types of medicine to provide a well-rounded plan of care to his patients. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Corsilles also specializes in digestive issues, obesity, fibromyalgia, and endocrinology disorders (hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, thyroid disease and diabetes).

Dr. Corsilles chose medicine as a career because he truly enjoys interacting with people and sharing life experiences. A visit to the doctor should not only be about treating disease, but also about promoting a healthy lifestyle. He tries to foster a mutually respectful relationship with each patient to promote a team approach to medicine.

Dr. Corsilles grew up in the Seattle area and is active in the Filipino community and in church. He enjoys reading, listening to jazz and R&B, playing basketball, and most of all spending time with his wife and two children.
