When we think of love, we think of our hearts. It’s true. You can die of a broken heart if you don’t have love. Check out this website.
I am always amazed how our mind and emotion can cause such an event. I hope that you will always have love in your life and not have a broken heart.
Although this might be an interesting medical fact, your chance of dying from having the broken heart syndrome is very rare. However, what is not rare is your chance of dying from heart attack or stroke. The leading cause of death in the US is cardiovascular disease. Despite all of our fear of dying from cancer, and all the screening we do for prevention, all of the cancer combined cannot trump cardiovascular disease.
This is true for men but more importantly in women. Why? Only 50% of women know about this fact. That is why this year we have partnered with Go Red for Women, part of the American Heart Association, and we believe in educating and getting the message out about heart health.
I have also became Life Check Champion speaker for AHA and you can request me to come to your office and deliver a presentation on the “Life’s Simple 7” platform for improving heart health!
So love and be loved, and let’s protect our heart from cardiovascular disease as well as broken hearts.
Love always,
Erik Suh
