I hope you are enjoying the August weather in Seattle! It has to be one of the best summers I have seen in years. When I was visiting my dad in Dallas last month, I was literally melting in the hot Texas heat.
Speaking of my dad, I am happy to report that the colon cancer on his bladder is receding after receiving chemotherapy. We are hopeful that after a few more sessions, he will be cancer-free.
I am grateful for all of you who have given me encouragement and kept my family in your prayers. Our relationship is a blessing and I treasure the bond we have developed. A few of you even got a colonoscopy that has been put off for years after my last newsletter. By opening up my personal life to you, I hope I may use it to potentially save your life as well. It is worth the cost of being an open book.
More great news is that I have been voted Top Doc in both Seattle Magazine and Seattle Met by my own peers this summer. Small private practice physicians rarely make these lists versus the bigger hospital system where there is much voting among their own staff. So, I am truly humbled to make it on both lists this year.
Summer continues to look better and better this year.
I hope you are enjoying the sun and make sure you are using plenty of sunscreen!!
Sincerely,
Erik Suh
