Coffee: Good or Bad?

Sorry to the coffee lovers out there, but coffee is only good in moderation. If you’re relying on coffee on a daily basis, you need to check your adrenal glands (stress glands). These glands are designed to support us under stress by secreting adrenalin and cortisol, our two major hormones that help us deal with stress. However, when stress becomes chronic like most of us in today’s busy society, our adrenal glands just can’t keep up. When you add coffee to the mix, it stresses our stress glands even more! This leads to classic burnout – tired all day and coffee (and even sleep) no longer rejuvenates you. It’s totally fine to drink coffee on occasion, just not daily or even twice daily! Check out Dr. Corsilles’ latest blog on coffee/caffeine here.
