Have High Cholesterol? The Bigger Issue is Chronic Inflammation

It’s not the bad fats and not always simply genetics for your bad cholesterol levels. If you have high cholesterol this is something you should address ASAP because it’s a sign of chronic inflammation in your arteries. We need inflammation – short term. But if our body is constantly inflamed, or under attack, it leads to more damage in the arteries and can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Always focus on less sugar, less fried foods, and don’t just focus on fats (because there are plenty of good fats that are essential to our body!). Check out Dr. C’s quick video here on basics on cholesterol and what you should do to lower inflammation. Have you gotten your cholesterol and inflammatory markers checked by us yet?
